The Prospect Fund was established over 28 years ago by Andy Nahas after he won the USA Today/CNBC National Investment Challenge.

Nahas’ philosophy was deeply influenced by his college years at the University of California, where he developed strong interest in addressing some of the world’s most pressing issues such as poverty and hunger, injustice, and bad corporate behavior. Benefiting from his economics studies, subsequent financial analysis at European American Bank, and investment research at Manning & Napier Advisors, Nahas founded The Prospect Fund in 1995.

The Prospect Fund is a proprietary investment fund whose mission is to seek maximum returns in the stock market through investing in socially responsible, sustainable growth companies. It then uses its financial and analytical resources to proactively support activist and charitable organizations trying to improve the condition of life on our planet.

For the 28 year period ending December 31, 2023, The Prospect Fund was the top performing fund in the BarclayHedge database. (The Fund began on January 1, 1995.)
